Composition & Materials

FlexeBrick brick slips are high-quality, organically bonded tiling strips made from over 90%–95% natural sands, crushed stone, and other mineral fillers. This advanced composition ensures durability and versatility, making them suitable for a wide range of applications. The bricks are UV-resistant, impact-resistant, and colorfast, preserving their authentic masonry appearance over time. Their lightweight nature allows for easy handling and installation without compromising on strength.

The thickness of FlexeBrick brick slips is 3 to 5 mm, including the adhesive layer, ensuring a sleek, durable finish that mimics traditional masonry while being easier to install.

Durability & Performace

Designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions, FlexeBrick brick slips are built for long-term performance. They are resistant to impact, temperature fluctuations (-40°C to +100°C), and weather exposure, making them suitable for both interior and exterior applications. The special adhesive used during installation ensures a secure bond, preventing water infiltration and enhancing structural stability. Their flexibility allows them to be applied around slightly rounded corners, ensuring a seamless and durable finish.

Additionally, FlexeBrick brick slips are fire-resistant, meeting Class A building material standards according to EN 13501-1:2018 A2 – s1, d0. This classification ensures that the product does not contribute to fire spread, has low smoke production, and contains no burning drips, making it a safe and reliable choice for both residential and commercial applications.

Sustainability & Efficiency

Sustainability is at the core of FlexeBrick’s design. Manufactured using natural materials such as quartz sand and pigments based on natural compounds, these brick slips offer an eco-friendly alternative to traditional masonry.

The entire production process is energy efficient, with the brick slips being dried within one night at a relatively low temperature of ± 60°C. The required electricity is largely generated by solar panels, reducing overall energy consumption. In addition to savings on raw materials, this also results in energy savings during production, drying, storage, transport, and application of the product. Due to their lightweight design, new buildings can be constructed with lighter structures, and existing buildings undergoing renovation do not require foundation modifications.

Brick slips are frequently used in renovation projects, helping to reduce energy consumption, extend building lifespan, and increase property value. By preventing unnecessary demolitions, they help conserve energy and raw materials. Additionally, unusable brick slips are recycled through a specialized partner, where they are finely ground and mixed with rubble to minimize waste and promote sustainability.
